Notre équipe travaille chaque jour à l’amélioration continue de Stellina et Vespera par le biais de mises à jour, notamment leurs algorithmes de traitement d’image. Les photos publiées sur cette page ont été prises il y a moins de 6 mois, afin de mieux refléter l’évolution des performances de nos stations d’observation. Oui, les photos ont été prises avec les stations d’observation Vaonis. Elles ont été réalisées soit par notre équipe, nos ambassadeurs ou par la communauté d’utilisateurs, que vous pouvez rencontrer sur le groupe Facebook #mySingularity.
Pour plus de transparence, les photos avec une astérisque accolée au nom de l’objet ont été traitées manuellement, à partir des fichiers bruts.
Celles sans astérisques sont les photos issues du traitement automatique de Stellina ou Vespera, sans post-traitement ou retouche importantes (photos jpeg sorties « directement de la boîte »).
Vaonis a mis au point CovalENS, une méthode brevetée de capture d’image qui permet d’obtenir, dans un temps optimal, une image du champ étendu, tout en procédant simultanément à l’empilement d’images. Appelé Mode Mosaïque dans l’application mobile, il représente le premier mode « panorama automatique » jamais intégré dans un télescope. En utilisant la technologie CovalENS, la station va prendre plusieurs photos d’une même région stellaire pour ensuite les assembler automatiquement entre elles, offrant ainsi aux utilisateurs une vue (“champ” en astrophotographie) plus grande sur l’univers. Les utilisateurs peuvent désormais donner libre cours à leur créativité en composant des photos uniques et personnalisées selon leurs envies, repoussant les limites de leur instrument.
