Designed for Vespera, Vespera II and Vespera Passengers, the hygrometer sensor measures temperature and humidity and switches on Vespera's built-in demister before fog forms on the lens. Vespera 3, Vespera Pro and Vespera Pro 2 already have this sensor built in.

When temperature and humidity reach the fogging threshold, Vespera's integrated demister heats around the lens to keep it clear.

Near the sea, a lake or a river, or on winter nights close to 0°C, the sensor switches the demister on and off by itself.

Condensation blurs stars and leads Vespera to reject more frames. A clear lens means sharper stars and shorter initialization and acquisition times.

Under 13 mm, with the smallest electronic board our engineers have ever designed, it fits into the optical arm and works with Vaonis filters.
