Vespera 3

The most affordable premium smart telescope — built for everyone who wants more from the night sky.

Vespera 3 combines a new-generation optical design with all-night endurance and effortless automation. Whether you're under light-polluted skies or a dark rural horizon, it captures more, keeps everything, and asks nothing from you.

Why Vespera 3

Eight reasons to look up.

Edge-to-edge sharpness

A new apochromatic quadruplet design eliminates chromatic aberration and field curvature across the entire frame. Every star — from center to edge — is sharp.

Clarity even under city skies

Precision-engineered optical baffles suppress stray light before it reaches the sensor. More contrast, deeper objects — even from your backyard.

A full night. Uninterrupted.

11 hours of battery life take you from dusk to dawn without power banks or interruptions. Your session ends when you choose to stop.

Nothing gets lost

115 GB of onboard storage and USB-C transfer at 30 MB/s. Every frame from every session is saved, organized, and ready.

Fields no single shot can cover

Mosaic mode stitches multiple frames automatically — up to 24 megapixels — so you can image entire nebulae, galaxies, and clusters in a single session.

Sky color — the integrated post-processing studio

Adjust colors, balance, and contrast directly in Singularity. From sensor to final image — no third-party software, no file juggling, no extra steps.

Your AI guide to the sky

LumENS answers your questions, explains what you're observing, and suggests your next target. Astronomy made intuitive from the very first night.

Optics that protect themselves

An integrated humidity and temperature sensor automatically activates the anti-fog system. Your optics stay clear — whatever the conditions.

Vespera 3 review

Quite happy with the product so far. Ease of setup, connection, and operation are definitely a plus.
Price was an issue for me initially, but I saved up for a while so it didn't hurt my wallet so much when I finally bought it.
No complaints yet. Had a connectivity problem for a bit but I believe it was operator error, and the the product. No issues since.
Really like the AI assisted question and answer option/button on your website. That has helped me greatly with setting the unit up with practical options to capture the best possible image.
Battery life is exceptional. Easily makes it through an entire short summer night of viewing/observing/capturing deep sky objects.
Also like the fact that the unit puts itself to bed (sleep) when the sun comes up in the morning. For long capture imiages, I can set it, forget it, and go to sleep in my tent knowing it'll do what it was told to do until the sun comes up. Awesome feature.
Very impressed. Looking forward to looking at fall and winter sky images with it.

The Ultimate 50mm Smart Scope

I've been a huge fan of the Vespera II for quite some time. When the V3 came out I was skeptical that it would be any significant improvement since the V2 was already at the optical limits for any 50mm scope. However, after comparing raw files provided by a friend imaged side by side on the same target and time with V2 and V3, I found the difference to be very clear. While it is physically impossible for any 50mm scope (including Pro series) to actually capture more resolvable detail than V2 / V3 due to Dawes Limit, what V3 has done is sharpen the optical train, almost like improving the focus so that delicate details which ended up blurred in V2 are sharply resolved with V3. Optical aberrations around starts are also eliminated as advertised. I purchased three V3s (to replace my three V2s), and have now run all three for six full nights with zero glitches or issues. Optical quality is amazing, battery life matches the advertised time (been running them all night, about 8 hours, and they have usually 30-35% remaining at the end), and the new USB data transfer is a wonderful upgrade.

Bottom line -- Vespera III is without question the single best portable sized smart telescope on the market, period. At this point it's still mostly outperforming even the far higher cost and larger Celestron competition, due largely to Vaonis' software which is far more mature.

Upgraded in ALL the Right Places

The Vespera 2 is a great performing smart telescope. The Vespera 3 is even better in all the right places. I’ve now had the V3 out four nights and it delivers what it promises. Better images in less time. I’ve run the V2 and V3 side by side collecting the same data. The raw data from the V3 has more detail and collected significantly faster. Because the V3 baffles away stray light and the new optical design delivers a more even light spread across the camera sensor, the V3 continues to collect data near a targets zenith position when other Vespera models stop. That’s why I collect 15 minutes more image data in the first couple hours with the V3 than the V2. Having more battery life, more storage and direct data transfer with a USB-C cable are all very helpful updates to the core Vespera platform. As I’ve always said, the Vespera two was the clear smart telescope winner for Bortle 6 and worse areas. The Vespera Three is now even better.

Super produit.

Bravo Vaonis, bravo le made in France.

Vespera Solar Filter

179 €

Astronomer by night, astronomer by day! Observe the closest star to Earth during the day with the Vespera solar filter. The filter allows you to observe sunspots (dark spots) that show the intensity of the Sun's activity.

Photograph the Sun with Vespera

The Solar Mode allows you to observe the Sun in almost real-time using the live display*. Capture photos at any time from the Observation tab of the Singularity mobile app.

Take several shots at different times of the day, week or month and compare your photos. Witness how the Sun's activity changes with the appearance or disappearance of sunspots. These can have a life span of several days, more rarely several weeks.

Sun spots monitoring

Automatic video recording for solar/planetary observation is not yet offered in Singularity. To make an animation, retrieve your photos in jpg format from Vespera's internal memory and put your photos together using photo/gif animation software.

*Continuous display of photos with a unit exposure time of 250µs

Observe safely

The filter is made of glass with a dimming effect. It will reduce the amount of light and allow you to observe the Sun in a way that is safe for your instrument. You will be guided through every step of your adventure by the Solar Mode of the Vaonis Singularity app, to ensure the observation runs smoothly and that you and your instrument are safe.

In a nutshell

• Daytime Solar Observation: Use the Vespera solar filter to observe the Sun and track sunspots, revealing solar activity.
• Solar Mode & Live Display: Observe the Sun in near real-time and capture photos directly from the Singularity app.
• Time-Lapse Solar Tracking: Take multiple photos over days or weeks to monitor changes in sunspots’ activity and duration.
• Safety: The glass solar filter ensures safe observation by reducing light intensity and protecting both the user and the instrument.
• Guided Solar Observation: The Singularity app provides step-by-step guidance during solar observation.

Cosmic filters Bundle

628 €

Take your astrophotography to the next level with the Cosmic Filters Bundle, designed to enhance your celestial observations and photography. This set includes two premium filters tailored to optimize your Vespera experience, whether you’re observing under city lights or pristine dark skies.

1. CLS Filter (City Light Suppression)

The CLS filter is ideal for urban and suburban observations, effectively reducing the impact of light pollution. By attenuating artificial light, this filter increases contrast between celestial objects and the background sky, delivering clearer and more vibrant images. It’s the perfect tool for capturing the night sky from areas with significant light interference.

2. Dual Band Filter

The Dual Band filter is a high-performance narrowband interference filter that enhances the visibility of specific celestial phenomena. It precisely isolates the Hydrogen Alpha (H-alpha) and Oxygen III (O-III) wavelengths, commonly found in nebulae, allowing you to capture more defined stars and intricate details. Whether you’re observing from urban areas or natural environments, this filter significantly improves image quality, creating stunning, high-contrast astrophotography.
