The set up process was easy. Only took me about 20 min to learn what I could to get this set up and going. The app is pretty good as well. I was able to capture the hercules cluster early at night and was pretty impressed by the result. with only 50 min of image stacking, I was shocked. I can only look forward to capture and learn more about the night sky. I can't wait to keep using this piece of tech. Highly recommend.
The pro 2 is a perfect addition to my seastar s50 and a dwarf mini. I have only had a short window of time to use the pro 2 so far; but it is impressive. I have attached a picture of the eagle nebula which I took from my neighborhood driveway in 30 minutes in a Bortle 5 sky. Everything about this telescope is impressive; especially the build quality, tripod, and carrying case.
This VPRO2, smart scope allowed me to capture for my first successful attempt a stunning star cluster for my first day and night of the same day I received it.
I was able to capture M13 in a fairly light polluted area-Bortle 4.5. I have been impressed and led to ever more immersion into the night sky with truly amazing results below. There's high potential for an immersive education in wonder. We don't get many star viewing nights in the PAcific North West and that's one of the cruxes of where this smart telescope really shines in efficiency and mobility. I realize astrophotography and the amateur has been working hard many years, I can appreciate that first hand and has made a lot of this possible but we can now stand with the giants who used the many forms of telescopes to get to this point. This technology is a breakthorugh for many of us dabbling through the years with the different manual to auto gudied and goto scopes that offered wonder and still are necessary for the direct eyepiece experience among others. I am so much more than happy with this smart telescope.
P.S. May I humbly brag, I have captured The Fish Head Nebula in great detail and relief, the Dumbbell Nebula, Bernards 174. see below, what a super cool invention made possible.

Weighing only 1 kg, the bag makes it easy to carry Vespera when traveling or enjoying an evening under the stars. It's small enough to fit easily in the car or on public transport. It can also be transformed into a hiking or leisure bag by simply removing the removable interior compartment.
